1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve a file, conduct an official check, or submit documents for a user.

The site directs readers to custodians such as IPSO, Iberia Parish courts, Louisiana State Police BCII-LCJIS, and the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry, and it may connect users with outside research tools. Louisiana Public Records Law, Title 44, including R.S. 44:1, 44:31, and 44:3, governs qualifying government records and law-enforcement exceptions; it does not make this private site a public custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Users agree not to:

• Use the site in violation of federal, state, or local law
• Stalk, threaten, or harass another person with information found here
• Rely on site content for a hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decision
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system
• Operate bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the pages

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or discriminate against anyone; such conduct may also be criminal. The Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry warns that misuse against a listed person or family may result in criminal prosecution or civil liability. Registry data is for public-safety awareness, never vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, consumer report, or background check. Our advertising partners and this site do not provide tools designed to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. Data from this site or a linked tool may not be used to:

• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Set insurance premiums or assess creditworthiness
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Serve any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A check needed for a regulated purpose must be obtained through Louisiana State Police BCII-LCJIS where authorized or from an FCRA-compliant screening provider.
